With a Sourcing Assessment, the first step from the Sourcing Phase Model©, it becomes clear where there are opportunities to use sourcing more effectively. In a short timeframe the assessments give insight into existing sourcing relationships (both internal and external), important areas of improvement and the ability to outsource services. The sourcing situation is mapped based on the structure of the Five Aspects Model©. The assessment focuses on areas such as governance, finance, service delivery, legal and HR.
